Our story

Better buying experiences
begin by listening.

Branch & Button was created around a simple observation: shoppers often become uncertain at the exact moment they should feel ready to buy.

We help Shopify merchants find those moments and turn them into clearer, more confident buying experiences.

Meet the founder

Built from a belief that clarity can change the way people buy.

I’m Will, the Founder of Branch & Button.

My background spans media, design and practical applications of artificial intelligence. Much of my work has focused on how businesses communicate: how information is presented, how visual choices shape perception and how customers respond when a message feels clear—or when it does not.

That experience taught me to look beyond whether something simply looks polished. A page can be attractive and still leave its customer with important unanswered questions. It can contain all the necessary information while placing it too far away from the moment when someone needs it.

Branch & Button grew from wanting to solve that problem thoughtfully.

A practical perspective

Where communication, design and intelligent analysis meet.

Branch & Button brings these disciplines together for Shopify stores. The goal is to understand what shoppers still need to know, decide which improvements deserve attention and present the right information closer to the buying decision.

Technology helps us organize evidence and recognize patterns. Human judgment determines what those patterns mean, which changes are appropriate and what should ultimately reach shoppers.

01

Media

Earning attention and communicating an idea in a way people can quickly understand.

02

Design

Using placement, hierarchy and presentation to make information easier to navigate.

03

Applied AI

Organizing evidence and recognizing useful patterns while keeping human judgment in control.

Our mission

Turn real shopper questions into clearer paths to purchase.

Branch & Button exists to help good products become easier to understand and easier to choose.

We examine the questions and concerns that may be creating hesitation across the buying journey. Depending on the store and the information available, that can include customer questions, reviews, support conversations, returns, search behavior, product details and storefront performance data.

We use that evidence to identify related opportunities across the store. The result is a connected set of practical improvements designed around the merchant’s actual products, customers and brand.

Every store presents a different decision. Our job is to make that decision easier to understand.

How we think

A thoughtful process, built around evidence and trust.

The principles that guide how we review a store, recommend a change and explain what happens next.

01

Evidence before assumptions

We begin with what shoppers and store data can actually tell us. Recommendations should connect to observable questions, recurring concerns or measurable behavior.

02

Clarity before complexity

The most useful improvement is not always the largest one. We bring important answers closer to the moment a shopper needs them.

03

Your approval before changes

The merchant remains in control. The scope is documented clearly, and storefront changes are reviewed before an approved release.

04

Measurement with context

We define what will be measured and explain the conditions around the result, including what the available data cannot prove.

05

Honest reporting

Positive, inconclusive, negative or unavailable—we explain what the evidence shows without forcing every result into a success story.

06

Technology with judgment

AI can organize information and surface patterns. It should never invent customer problems, fabricate evidence or make uncontrolled decisions.

Why this work matters

Shoppers should not have to investigate a product before they can feel confident buying it.

Many stores already have the information their customers need. The answer may simply be buried in a description, separated from the product choice, spread across several policies or missing from the page entirely.

When that happens, shoppers must pause, search, contact support or decide with incomplete information. Some will continue. Others will leave.

Branch & Button looks for those moments and helps merchants bring useful, approved information closer to the decision itself—whether that means choosing a size, understanding a bundle, checking compatibility or setting realistic delivery expectations.

A note from Will

I want Branch & Button to earn the trust it asks for.

Starting Branch & Button was not about putting an AI label on another service. I wanted to build something practical—something that could help a merchant understand where shoppers may be getting stuck and turn that understanding into work they can actually review.

If you invite Branch & Button into your store, you should know what we are examining, why a change is being recommended and how the outcome will be evaluated. You should remain in control of what is approved, and you should receive an honest explanation of what the evidence shows.

That standard matters to me because a storefront represents years of work, financial investment and personal commitment. Any company trusted to improve it should approach that responsibility carefully.

Branch & Button will continue to evolve, but the principle behind it will remain the same: listen closely, make thoughtful changes and communicate the results honestly.
